Pharmacy Sales Associate

* Maintain cleanliness and professionalism in your dress, personal appearance and grooming.
* Have a friendly and helpful attitude when interacting with patients and your co-workers.
* Greet and triage entering patients/customers based on their communicated needs.
* Promptly answer phones to assist patients with their requests.
* Receive requests for prescription refills and new fills.
* Maintain and operate the cash register for processing all pharmacy transactions (including store-front items and prescription medications), returns, and medical equipment rentals.
* Properly verify patient name/date of birth/valid ID for medication transactions, while upholding HIPAA standards and following all relevant pharmacy laws.
* Assist with organizing and re-stocking shelves and store inventory.
* Carry out daily housekeeping, cleanliness and sanitation responsibilies as established by pharmacy guidelines.
* Have a growth-oriented mindset and be willing to learn new skills to grow professionally.
