Parts Merchandiser
Reports to: Operations Manager
Parts Merchandiser’s Role:

Min/max ordering

Job Summary
The Parts Merchandiser is part of the Parts and Service Team.
The Parts Merchandiser is responsible for the parts and accessories needed for business operations.
These operations include customer counter parts sales, service part sales, and trailer sales accessories.
Parts Merchandiser is responsible for ordering, receiving and processing parts received from vendors.
Parts Pro is responsible for assisting phone customers and walk-in customers.
When Service Pro Team Leader is not available, Parts Merchandiser will assist customers with service related needs.
Primary Job Duties
Generate vendor parts orders
Answer inbound parts phone calls
Assist walk-in parts customers
Check-in, label and stock parts
Update and install parts displays on the lot and in office
Sell accessories and other needed equipment for customers purchasing trailers
Perform cycle counts for parts inventory.
Manage parts supply chain to optimize profits and revenues.
Help team unload and assemble trailers before opening as needed.
Assist in organize inventory on lot
Use point of sale software to perform parts transactions
Take payment over the phone and in person for parts using various payment processing services.
Cover the Service desk when Parts and Service Pro Team Leader is not available.
Assist all other customers when needed.
Skills/Qualifications:
Must have retail sales experience
Must be able to regularly lift 50 lbs.
Must have valid NC Drivers license
Must be skilled in Microsoft Office or Google Docs

Work Hours:
Monday-Friday: 8:45-5:30
½ day once per week
Saturday: 8:45-12:00
Lunch: 30 minutes (between 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm)
Additional Hours as required
Work Environment:
Work is performed at desk, outside retail lot, in parts warehouse, and in service shop
