Keyboard / Pianist /Accompanist (Asheboro)

I am currently searching for a keyboard accompanist.

I am the Vicar / Pastor of All Souls Anglican Church which is located on Old Cox Rd.
, 1 mile north of the Africa entrance to the zoo.
I am currently searching for a keyboard accompanist to join our choir of 10 members.
This is a paid position and will work closely with me and our Choir Director to lead the music Team each Sunday during our 10:30am Holy Communion worship.
There are a few pieces of “service music” that we repeat every Sunday, plus normally 4-5 traditional hymns that change each service.
On a small handful of days (i.
e.
Ash Wednesday and Holy Week services, the occasional funeral etc.
) through the year the accompanist will join us if available.
Age is unimportant so long as you are able to read music and play traditional hymns proficiently.
We mostly use the 1940 Episcopal Hymnal which is the book currently in the pews.
Several of our choir members are classically trained, and the acoustics of our worship space are fantastic.
We are a small congregation but expect to grow significantly in the coming years and expectations are that our fantastic Music Ministry Team will continue to grow as the congregation does.
We have an electronic piano / keyboard and an organ, and either works for me.

Compensation needs/expectations will be discussed with each candidate during the interview process, but it starts at $100 per service and goes up from there depending on experience and ability.
